The form

It collects your name, phone number, ZIP code and what you type in the description. It also records the page you sent it from, the page you first arrived on, where you came from, and any campaign tags on the link you followed, so we can tell which pages produce real jobs.

The phone number

Calls run through a call-tracking service and are recorded, with a notice played before you connect. What is kept is your number, the time, the length of the call and the recording.

Who gets it

The operator who covers the Lansing area, so they can call you back and do the job, and the people who run this site. That operator pays for the leads this site passes on; that is how the site is funded. Hosting, form and call-tracking providers process the data on our behalf. It is not sold to advertisers or data brokers.

Browser storage

No advertising cookies. One item is stored in your browser's session storage recording the page you first landed on. It is cleared when the tab closes and only leaves your device as a hidden field on a form you choose to send.

Removal

Job details and call records are kept while they are useful for handling and paying for the work, then deleted. To have yours removed sooner, ask through the contact page from the number you used.
